Programs
Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators working with students from pre-kindergarten through high school. It uses the forest as a "window" into the natural world, helping young people gain an awareness and knowledge of the environment and their place within it. The SC program is sponsored by the South Carolina Forestry Foundation, forest industry, SC Department of Education, and SC Forestry Commission.
Project WET’s mission is to reach children, parents, teachers and community members of the world with water education that promotes awareness of water and empowers community action to solve complex water issues.
Project WILD's mission is to provide wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. All curriculum materials are backed by sound educational practices and theory, and represent the work of many professionals within the fields of education and natural resource management from across the country.
