Newberry Soil & Water Conservation District provides two $1000 scholarships for graduating seniors or current college student from Newberry County that attend secondary schools with programs in Ag education, environmental natural resource field, or any related field.

Keep Newberry County Beautiful provides two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors or current college student from Newberry County that attend secondary schools with programs in conservation efforts. Students must be involved in the community.

                                           Congratulations to our 2025 $1000 Scholarship Winners.

Emma Wicker from Little Mountain SC,  won her 4th year for Newberry Soil & Water Conservation District $1000 scholarships.  She attends Newberry College and is pursuing a degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental studies.

 

Ryan Crooks from Prosperity SC, a graduate of Mid Carolina School is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Conservation Biology at Clemson University.

 

Zekehiah Jeter from Newberry SC.  She graduated Newberry High School and attends USC Upstate.  She is pursuing a Nursing education.  She was the President of Student Council and Beta Club.

Arriana Battle from Pomaria, SC graduated from Mid Carolina school and is pursuing a degree in Forensic Science.  She is attending lander University.
